We recently booked a 6 day trip from Chandigarh to Madurai and Rameswaram for my elderly parents through Grand Travel Planners, and I cannot recommend them enough. Since my parents are senior citizens and cannot walk too much, my biggest concern was comfort and ease of travel. From the very beginning, GTP and their team member Sweta planned everything perfectly. The itinerary was created during the booking process itself, and every detail including flights, hotel stays, food preferences, local travel and sightseeing was discussed transparently in advance. There were no surprises, and all bookings were done only after prior consultation.

The hotels were very good and senior friendly. Jain food was arranged wherever required, which I truly appreciated. A dedicated driver was arranged for all six days and was available at their convenience, making the entire journey smooth and stress free. Despite the crowds at certain sites, sightseeing was managed with great care and all important places were covered comfortably. What truly stood out was the personal attention. GTP created a WhatsApp group before travel, and Sweta consistently checked in to ask how my parents were doing and where they were. That level of reassurance meant a lot to me while they were travelling.

We have just returned from our first family trip to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and had such an awesome time. We stayed at 3 different resorts for 5 nights and it was the best decision ever.

We had pre planned buffet at the hotels with huge swimming pools and some resorts also have a private beach attached to the property. The buffet had a wide range of options from fruits, eggs, noodles and some dal with rice.

Scenic boat tour around the islands with deep sea snorkeling, swimming with marine life and sunset views was the star of our trip.

Year 2020 has been quite tormenting for many people. I also had never imagined what it would be like to sit at home for months. Being an avid traveller it was also one of my most cherished part of my work. However, all changed after March 2020.

This year I had also planned to visit my brother who lives in London. I was all set to travel in the month of May but that also came to a halt. Fortunately, some air flights resumed their services in September and I managed to get a good deal through Grand Travel Planners. Finally, I was out of my nest after six months but it did not normal. I felt as if I was travelling for the first time. The new normal started with handbags and you getting sanitised before entering the airport and the mask was not to be taken off at point of time unless asked for. (Only for ID checking for a split sec you pull down the mask).

Then came the long queue with mandatory social distancing which made the queue look even longer but the airline staff of Vistara was courteous and could be seen working with patience and smile. It was the first time I travelled through Vistara to London. I had experienced their service with domestic flight which was good but international was definitely great.

Arriving at Heathrow, it did feel like nothing had changed. Apart from the social distancing, it didn't feel like the world had changed in any way.

Immigration check was usual hour and half long wait and the questions were basic like what is your purpose of visit etc. Its been now a week since I arrived here and sitting in quarantine, enjoying the sunshine I am much hopeful that soon we all resume our new normal lives.

For KL i have a suggestion that the city tour can be improved....!!(cause there are more interesting things in KL for eg. bird park, butterfly park etc...at least i felt that).

Langkawi was very good, nice place to see. But again i felt that they could have arranged the island tour in a much better way, because the tour option they gave us had few good things n few not so good things...n we had no option to mix n pick..!!

Nevertheless....this is just what i personally felt...!!

All the matchless views are spot on! Location and accommodation are dazzling, I can't say there was anything I was not happy with. We were in Dubai for 4 nights. We travelled a lot and have stayed at some very alien hotels but Golden Sand Hotel has been one of the best experiences so far. I must say superb accommodation, nice views, nice service & flawless facilities, we will never forget the whole experience.

@other: Camel ride was short but it is an experience. Dinner and belly dancing in the hub of the dessert was quite an incomparable experience. The Jumeira Beach is really beautiful and I recommend it to everyone...Overall it was fun to be there in Dubai!!
